She always looked forward to her Saturday garage sales with her best friend Carol. She will be remembered for her love of life, Family and friends, all creatures big and small, her sense of humour, patience, sweet nature and tending her flower and vegetable gardens. She was a homemaker and was devoted to her husband Marc and his music career. Ruth dearly loved each of her 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She will be missed by her siblings John, Theresa, Betty, Gerald and Mike as well as her son Randall (Margaret) of Calgary, daughter Sherri of Nanaimo, daughter Marilyn (Alan) of Edmonton. She is survived by the love of her life Marc Wald her husband of 33 years. Ruth was born in Ailsa Craig Ontario, Canada to her parents Timothy and Christine O'Leary.
